- Google Fonts fornece as letras do app.

Privacy and contact
Routikids · updated on 2026-10-01 (see the change history at the end)
In short: Routikids asks for no account, e-mail or phone number, shows no ads and uses no tracking. It only sends anonymous statistics, which you can turn off. The routine stays on your device and, if you connect other devices, in a database used only to sync them, which only your family's devices can read.
What the app stores
- Each child's nickname, picture and colour. Use only a nickname, no full name, school or address.
- The routines: tasks, times, sounds and each child's settings.
- The day's progress: which tasks were done, when, and whether on time.
- The name and kind of each connected device (for example "📺 Living room TV") and when it was last used, and whether its sound is on (so one device can turn another's sound on or off).
- The audios you record or send in "Family audios".
- With stars turned on: a summary of each day per child (how many stars, and how many tasks on time, early, late and skipped), to add up the week and show the goals. Kept for up to 120 days.
- A connection history, on the device only, to help understand sync problems.
The microphone is only used when you tap "Record", and a recording stops after 15 seconds at most.
Where the data is kept
- On the device: everything is kept in each device's browser storage.
- With connected devices: the routines, the day's progress, the star summaries, the device names and the audios are also kept in the Firebase Realtime Database, a Google service with servers in the United States. Each device gets an anonymous identity (no name or e-mail), and the database rules only let devices that joined the family's group with the pairing code read and write.
Anonymous usage statistics
To know whether the app is being used and what to improve, each device sends one record a day with only these numbers: kind of device (TV, phone, tablet or computer), whether it is paired with another device, how many children are shown, language, app version, how many tasks were done that day, how many routines with tasks there are and whether the app is used with a TV. The record uses a random number created on the device itself, with no link to the family, and carries no names, nicknames or routines. These numbers are kept in the same database and may be seen in a public summary.
The demo video page counts its visits the same way: the language, how far the video was watched and whether it got to the end, with the same random number the app uses in that browser.
To turn it off: ⚙️ Settings, option "📊 Send anonymous usage statistics". It also applies to the video page in that browser.
What the developer sees
As the database administrator, the developer technically has access to what is kept in the cloud. Only technical numbers are looked at, such as how many devices there are and when they were used, to follow the tests and fix problems. Families' routines are not opened.
Other services used when the app opens
- GitHub Pages (GitHub, by Microsoft) hosts the app and logs visits, like any website.
- Google Fonts provides the app's lettering.
- cdnjs (Cloudflare) provides the code that draws the QR code.
When the app loads, these services receive the usual technical data of the internet, such as the IP address and the kind of browser. Routine data is not sent to them.
How to delete
- From the cloud: in ⚙️ Settings, in the connection part, tap "🗑️ Delete the family's data from the cloud". It deletes the routines, the progress, the star summaries, the audios and the device list from the database and disconnects every device. The routine stays on the device you tapped on.
- From a device: clear the site's data in the browser settings. If you like, use "💾 Save a copy" first.
- Remove a device from the group: in ⚙️ Settings, in the list of connected devices.
- If you need help deleting something, write to the e-mail below.
Children
The app is set up by parents or carers. Children only see and tap the routine. That's why we ask only for nicknames and no data that identifies the child.
Test version
Routikids is free and still being tested. Features and this page may change. When something important changes here, the date at the top changes too.

Was die App speichert
Was der Entwickler sieht
